FCA Consumer Duty – hosted by TLT LLP
- This event has passed.
26th January 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
FreeJoin us for a virtual seminar with TLT LLP to take a closer look at the FCA’s proposals to introduce a Consumer Duty from April 2023 for all firms such as SIPP providers dealing with retail customers.
The FCA’s Consumer Duty aims to lift standards of customer treatment across the retail markets, by introducing a package of enhanced obligations on firms through:
- a new Principle for Businesses;
- cross cutting conduct standards; and
- detailed rules on products and services, fair value, consumer understanding and consumer support.
The Consumer Duty will apply to all stages of a product’s lifecycle or customer journey.
Current implementation proposals give a timeframe of just 9 months for SIPP providers to make all the necessary implementation arrangements.
TLT’s financial regulation experts will give an overview of the FCA’s proposals and the key areas of challenge for SIPP providers.
Please register in advance via the website link to receive the Zoom link for the event.
