Ian Linden , James Hay Partnership
Ian has been involved in financial services for over 30 years, with the early part of his career working in national IFA firms. His breadth of experience and knowledge extends to managing a centralised operations centre, project management and both sales and senior sales management.
Subsequently he moved into consultancy with asset management companies and IFA firms before taking time out to complete an MBA, majoring in strategy. On completion of his postgraduate qualification, he held business development roles with a number of specialist pension providers. His current role is Technical Manager, Pensions with James Hay Partnership.
Ian regularly presents on pension tax legislation topics at national conferences and seminars, as well as writing technical articles for the industry press.
Apart from his MBA, he holds the Diploma in Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Retirement Provision Certificate from the Pension Management Institute.
